Job Description

Post Title: Principal Aseptic Technician 

Band: 6/7 - dependent on experience/skill

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: minimum 3 months

Days: 5 Monday to Friday

Hours: 37.5

Skills: Daily management of Technical Services Unit including:

  • Management of workload to ensure efficient and effective service
  • staff skill mix/rota organisation
  • stock ordering and control
  • training and line management of staff
  • management of quality assurance process such as monitoring, cleaning, quality exceptions, change controls, document update and control  
  • Checking process e.g. worksheets, assembly
  • Senior knowledge and experience of aseptic manipulation and processes within the preparation of an aseptic product
  • Experience in cytotoxic manufacture
  • Professional technician and role model to junior staff
  • Recent evidence of skills required
