I would recommend TLA to Hospital Pharmacists as an agency as they are trustworthy and honest when searching for and making agency bookings. The staff understand the requirements of the booking eg whether we are looking for dispensary or clinical experience and they send through CV’s appropriate to the post we are looking to fill. Some agencies send phishing emails saying they have x person available and then when you reply that person has been taken. Some agencies also tell you somebody can start on x date and then that mysteriously has to be extended for a week or so. TLA are honest and don’t waste time. You can be confident that they are searching for the right candidate with the right skills and are honest about start dates.

Of all the locum agencies I have dealt with I would consider TLA to be the most approachable and helpful and one that does not hound the department constantly for business. They offer a good knowledge of the locums on their books so when you ask for a particular skillset they offer suitable locums. This is unlike many other agencies who seem to not understand hospital pharmacy services and appear to wordsearch CVs and offer up candidates that are far from suitable.
